What
we call Productions such as "The
Manchester Ship Canal" or "Snailbeach" are fully edited TV
programmes with commentary, graphics, etc., and are suitable for more general
audiences.
Our
Compilations are aimed at the enthusiast who
does not want to miss anything. They may be 5 or 120 minutes long but they are
not edited to length just to make an entertaining show. We leave in as much
relevant material as possible after taking out repeats, bad takes and irrelevant
setting-up footage, and present it in a logical order.
What remains is as complete a record of an event or process as possible, too comprehensive and intense for a general audience, but ideal for the dedicated specialist or researcher. A few compilations are 'enhanced' by the addition of some commentary and/or graphics.
Compilations may be referred to by their number, e.g. "Compilation 1"
= "The Last Run".
The Compilations are numbered in order of release date and not
necessarily in any subject or topic order.
Copies of most of the compilations are available with or without timecode
in-picture. Please state your preference when ordering.
