Provan Gas Works in Germistton Glasgow

I am trying to find out any information about Provan Gas Works in Germiston Glasgow. I know this is a long shot but I have tried various sources nearer to home with not much luck.
In recent years the Gasworks Have come to a gradual end. Previously it was crissed crossed with rail lines and had adjoining chemical plants, distillerys etc. May also have had transport links with the Monkland canal. I am curious to know if this area in Glasgow is still being used as an industrial site. also keen to know anything about the process of dismantling the site.

By chance, I came across your query and you may have this information already. Two web sites have old pictures of Provan Gas Works, before the gas maunfacturing plant was dismantled. They are www.scran.ac.uk and www.rcahms.gov.uk using the Canmore search. In addition the following link,
www.ihbrown.com/land_remed_5.htm seems to show remediation work at the site after demolition.
Today, two large telescopic and on large spiral gas holders remain, the former beside the M8 motorway.
