Ammunition Dumps and Explosions

This probably isn't the right place to ask a question about British WW2 Ammunition Dumps, never mind the ones that blew up! However, if someone could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.
I recall watching a television news item a few years ago, the article was about a WW2 ammunition dump explosion (I think it was referred to as Britains biggest), I'm sure the story was done to accompany the declassification of official documents about the incident. I am not sure where it was in the UK and would be interested to explore the subject further.

The bigest one in WW II was at RAF Fauld, in Staffordshire. You can read about it in "After the Battle" Magazine No. 18 (1997). After the Battle have a web site and back issues can be bought from their. Details about the Largest WW I explosion, at Silvertown, London, is in the same issue.
