This tape shows many different examples of aqueducts, cuttings, tunnels, embankments and locks; recorded between 1982 and 1988 on canals throughout Britain. It forms a unique visual database of inland waterway engineering features in use, which will also appear as a laser disk interactive video display at the National Waterways Museum, Gloucester. Harecastle tunnel Archive tape number and timecode are displayed in-picture to enable each item to be identified. These numbers are also used in the 15-page set of notes accompanying this tape. Produced for the National Waterways Museum at Gloucester.
